Cancellation and Returns Policy
It is the policy of Fisher Scientific UK Limited to accept return of catalogue equipment product, within 28 days from date of purchase, where customers have ordered items they do not require. This is subject to the limitations that the item is unused, in its original packing and that the return has been authorised by a Fisher Scientific Customer Service Representative within the limits set out in the Company ISO9000 procedure.
Return of Laboratory Chemicals and Customer Specified / Non-Catalogue product will not generally be accepted. Where return of Laboratory Chemicals has been authorised, Fisher Scientific arranged transport must be used. Under no circumstances must chemicals be posted or other unauthorised transportation be used.
Return of any item, other than as part of a customer complaint, may be subject to a handling charge.
Orders for Customer Specified / Non-Catalogue product may not be cancelled without the prior agreement of Fisher Scientific.
Returns Policy
It is Fisher Scientific’s policy to accept convenience returns of standard products (where customers have ordered items they do not require) within 28 days from date of purchase, subject to a 15% restocking fee. This returns policy only applies to products which are in a unused, re-saleable condition and does not apply to (i) products which have been discontinued, (ii) products which are personalized or customized, (iii) products not purchased from Fisher Scientific, (iv) refrigerated or temperature controlled products, (v) products which are outdated, shelf-worn, used or defaced; (vi) or reagents, diagnostics, or chemicals which have been opened. Returns of custom products or non-catalogue products will not generally be accepted. Return of all chemicals must be authorised and returned via Fisher Scientific authorised transport. Customer must obtain a return goods authorization (“RGA”) from Fisher Scientific and reference the RGA number on return shipping documents.
Please note that this returns policy does not restrict or limit the right of a customer to bring valid warranty claims.
Freight Claim Policy (Incomplete Delivery / Damaged Goods)
Any claims for incomplete deliveries or the delivery of damaged goods must be made in writing within 14 days of receipt by customer (failing which the goods shall be deemed to have been properly delivered). Please note that completion of delivery does not restrict the customer’s right to bring valid warranty claims.
