Applications
Lanthanum(III) nitrate hydrate serves as a raw material for the electrochemical synthesis of LaMnO₄, which is a thin film coating on stainless steel substrate. It is also used in preparation of La₂O₂S. Further, it is used in phosphors, fluorescent display tubes and heat transfer measurement.
