Description
- Complete separation (by molecular weight) in 10 minutes
- Easy access to the gel for extraction of DNA bands or transfer to membranes for Southern blotting DNA Separation and sensitivity

- Superior sensitivity requires less sample, saving time and money
- Can also be used for fast analysis of RNA samples to check on their integrity before proceeding with downstream applications
- A proprietary stain incorporated in the gels is excitable by visible blue light, allowing safe, real-time monitoring of DNA or RNA migration with the E-Gel Safe Imager Real-Time Transilluminator
- The room-temperature stable, ready-to-use 1Kb Plus DNA Ladder is premixed with loading buffer and is formulated specifically for E-Gel EX gels as well as other E-Gel precast gels
- Standard ladders not premixed with loading buffer may also be used, but in significantly lower amounts than required for other gels
