Indium tin oxide is one of the most widely used transparent conducting oxides due to its important properties like electrical conductivity and optical transparency, as well as the easy formation of thin film on deposition. It is also used in touch panels, electrochromic, electroluminescent and LCD displays, plasma displays, field emission displays, heat reflective coatings, energy efficient windows, gas sensors and photovoltaics.
