Description
Cesium sulfate is used to prepare dense aqueous solutions, which finds application in isopycnic centrifugation especially for DNA purification and recovery. It acts as a catalyst for sulfur dioxide oxidation with vanadium or vanadium pentoxide. Further, it acts as a metal oxide catalyst enhancer for heterogeneous processes.
