Prepared by modification of procedure of Vieira and Messing, this high-titer helper phage eliminates need to make and maintain a separate stock of helper phage. It contains Km^r gene and p15A origin of replication that allows it to replicate like plasmid inside cells. Detailed protocols for production of ssDNA are provided on product profile.
